The engraved texture on the barrel is surprisingly grippy and adds a lot of character, and that antique copper trim catches the light beautifully. This one’s a keeper for the collection, glad I snagged it before it was gone.
I’ve been hunting for this one since it went out of production, and the antique copper trim against the deep engraved texture looks even better in person than in photos. Writes with a smooth, reliable flow right out of the box, which is rare for a pen this old in the lineup.
The tactile engraving on the barrel is incredible—you can actually feel the texture of Douglass's portrait under your fingers, and the antique copper trim gives it a warm, dignified weight. This one's going straight into my daily rotation.
