The Apollo-Soyuz tribute detailing on the barrel is such a cool nod to 1975, and it writes way smoother than I expected for a themed pen. The nib lays down a clean line with zero skipping right out of the box.
Wasn't sure how a fountain pen would handle a space theme, but the Apollo-Soyuz nod is subtle and classy. The cap posts firmly and the weight sits nicely in hand for longer writing sessions. Ink flow has been consistent from the first fill.
The nib glides so smoothly on my Tomoe River paper, and the weight feels perfectly balanced when posted. I've been reaching for it daily since it arrived.
