The sleeve is soft inside and the pen slides in without any scratching, which is exactly what I wanted for my nicer fountain pen. The cherry blossom design is subtle enough that it doesn't look loud clipped to a notebook.

The cherry blossom pattern lines up nicely with the pen it was made for, and the sleeve feels sturdy enough for tossing in a bag. Only gripe is that it's a snug fit, so getting the pen out takes a little wiggle.
