Retro 51 is thrilled to bring awareness to a great cause through a collaboration on an Exclusive Pen and Pencil with Daddy-Daughter Pens. American Sign Language (ASL) is the predominant sign language used amongst deaf communities in the United States and Canada. Behind English, Spanish and Chinese, ASL is the fourth most widely used language in the US with around 2 million users. Blake Short from Daddy-Daughter Pens shared with us his personal story and connection to ASL. Blake said, "having Great Grandparents... as well as a daughter who is deaf, ASL has been a language that my family has learned and continued to study over time. When our daughter was born deaf in 2017, we started taking classes to give us a better understanding of the language so we could use it with her along with other ways of communication. We are proud to be able to put the alphabet and numbers 1-10 on this pen to allow people to have instant access and possibly use at least a little bit of ASL if ever needed." This is a Limited Edition of 300 pens.
