The twist mechanism is smooth and satisfying, and the weight of the brass trim gives it a nice heft in hand. I've used it for a couple weeks and the peacock blue hasn't chipped or faded yet, which is a relief for a lacquered pen. Only wish the packaging tube was a bit more durable for travel.
