The Nautilus - Tornado™ Big Shot Rollerball

The deep-sea design caught my eye first, but the rollerball’s smooth, gliding ink is what kept me writing for an hour straight. It’s got a nice weight in the hand, too—not too heavy, but solid enough to feel like a real instrument. The nautical details on the barrel are a lovely touch.

Wrote a few pages with it straight out of the box and the ink flow is incredibly smooth, no skips at all on cheap paper. The weight feels substantial in the hand without being tiring, and the deep-sea engraving catches the light beautifully when you rotate it.

The deep-sea engraving on the barrel is so intricate that I keep catching light off the waves while writing, and the rollerball glides across paper like it’s underwater. It’s a hefty pen, but that heft makes every note feel like a chapter.
