The 1.1mm lead is the sweet spot for jotting quick notes without constant sharpening. The retro finish has a nice weight in the hand, heavier than I expected for a pencil. Been using it daily at my desk and it's held up great.
The retro look on this pencil is exactly what I hoped for, and the twist mechanism feels solid every time I click it. The 1.1mm lead lays down a nice dark line, which works great for my daily planner.
The 1.1mm lead is thick enough that I don't snap it every five minutes like my old 0.5mm, which is a small thing but it matters when you're sketching. The retro barrel has that solid, weighty feel in the hand too.
