The yellow lacquer is so warm and glossy in person, and the weight feels perfectly balanced for a pen this size. Knowing it’s a pre-production proof with only a handful in existence makes every jot feel like a little piece of history.
I was shocked to see the barrel markings on the pre-production proof—it's genuinely a piece of history that you can actually write with. The weight in my hand feels reassuringly solid, and the click is crisp enough that I catch myself fidgeting with it all day.
The yellow enamel on this Pooh proof is vibrant in person, and knowing it's a pre-production piece makes it feel special. The only thing holding me back from five stars is the price for a ballpoint, but the collector angle justifies it.
