The embroidered fabric barrel gives it a textured grip you don't see on typical pens, and knowing only a handful exist makes it feel special every time I pick it up. Ballpoint writes smoothly right out of the box, which is more than I can say for some limited runs I've owned.
It feels special knowing this is one of only a handful of pre-production proofs in existence, not something anyone can just buy. The white embroidered fabric barrel gives it a texture that’s completely different from any plastic or metal pen I’ve used. Writes smoothly right out of the box.
For a pre-production sample, the white fabric weave is surprisingly even and clean under close inspection, and the twist mechanism clicks with real authority. I'm keeping it as a desk piece rather than a daily writer, but the weight and grip feel more solid than some production pens I've owned.
